When it comes to college writing I’m always concerned about the introduction and conclusion. I don’t want to repeat myself or just re-write the same ideas in other words.

i have that same problem with the introduction and conclusion, but what i started doing that i look for a quote to start my essay and then i just explain the quote that will make my thesis a little bit different from the conclusion.
Same here,i always atleast try to switch up the intro and conclusion.
That’s a good idea I definitely need to try that.
Yes, i thought i was the only so i would sometimes change my conclusion a little so it wouldnt sound excactly the same.
I completely agree with you. I can start off my introduction pretty well because the ideas are fresh and strong but by the time I come to my conclusion I feel as if I’m just repeating myself and it’s the same concepts and it doesn’t end as strong as it started out. So I tried depending on the type of essay to include an overall message to the audience and take the topic and portray it through a bigger picture or relate it to something else to change things up.
Yeah i know what you mean. The problem i have with it is following my introduction. Its very important to stick to the “plot” in lack of better words. I make a sweet intro / outro sometimes but the body sometimes doesnt really follow suit with it.
