Calculator: A scientific calculator with trigonometric functions such as sin, cos is required.

STUDENT OBLIGATIONS

Attendance:  Under CUNY mandate, attendance in each class is REQUIRED and will be taken at the beginning of each class.  You are allowed a MAXIMUM of 3 absences, after that point you will receive a WU grade in the course if you miss the final exam.  Two LATENESSES will be considered as one absence.  

Classroom Conduct:  ABSOLUTELY NO CELL PHONE is allowed in the classroom.  Do not bring food and drink to class.  Do not bring children to class.

Grading policy :

Class Average:  Exams  70%  +   Homework   30%

Course Average = 65% of Class Average   + 35% of  Department Final Exam

To pass the MAT 1275 course with a grade of D, a student must attain a Course Average ≥ 60
                                                                                             

There will be no makeup exams or quizzes given.

All missing exams or quizzes will be considered zero.
