Week 11 through Week 12

MODULE 4:  ORGANIZATIONAL METRICS AND STRATEGIC PLANNING

During Weeks 11 and 12, students will learn about key performance indicators (KPIs) in healthcare organizational performance evaluation. Students will learn how KPIs can be helpful in identifying areas of strength and weakness, monitoring progress towards goals, and making informed decisions about resource allocation and strategy. To achieve this, students will be required to read through these websites and watch the videos that are posted below. Through these activities, students should be able to define KPI-related terms, provide examples, and describe how KPIs work.

It is recommended that you write notes as you review these materials because they will be helpful when completing written assignments and preparing for the online exams.
