Fortune Society has a strong community driven work environment and heavily promotes values such as teamwork. There are many inhouse social events that happen on a weekly basis to promote such values. Every Friday, there is a social gathering at the dining area in the afternoon. Fortune Society staff members, volunteers and clients would get together, eat or just socialize together all in one space. Most of the Fortune employees work in their private offices or open cubicles. The open cubicles are usually reserved for newcomers , interns and volunteers. Breaks are generally set between 12:00 and 1:00. Fortune Society provides free cooked meals(Breakfast and lunch) for its employees. There are no standard dress codes for Fortune Society. A large majority of the employees wear business casual attire for work such as khaki pants and dress shirts.
