This past storm for many parts of the Eastern side of the nation was very disastrous. My neighborhood in particular ( Sunset Park) in Brooklyn NY, was not as affected as much as other areas around Brooklyn . During the storm unlike other neighborhoods ,the electric power did not go out as well as the other services.Only for two days the internet service was
disconnected. Although the winds were very strong , the several trees in my back patio did not fall .My family and I were prepared in case of any emergency evacuation although we live in a zone that does not required any flooding evacuation.
