The Portfolio has to do with BY1101 Lectures and Laboratories. The course is General Biology in setting. It introduces students to The characteristics of living things, Systematics, Taxonomy, Evolution, technology involved in Gene Engineering as well as Early (Fetal) development.
On the other hand, students are exposed to basic procedures, in the Laboratory, through a hands-on approach. It ranges from observing microbes under light microscope, through the highlight of Electrophoresis and Genetics, which students are usually excited about, based on the questions and effort they generally expended, in getting good results to Chi-Square test of contigency.
