Choosing Typography Toggle navigation

For my Graphic Communication course I was required to find interesting type. Living in New York City you’d figure that would be a breeze but I found a lot of signage to very boring and all the same San Serif font. They lacked energy.

I came across an image of Rick Ross in of all things Communication Arts magazine that totally captured my attention. The chosen type immediately made me think of Ross as it was very similar in design to the tattoos that adorn his entire upper torso.
