Bryant Park 41 W40th Streets, New York, 10018
This is elegant welcoming park is built on top of the stacks of the New York Public Library next door. It is easy accessible by public transportation (subways and buses). It’s a nice multifunctional space. The park hosts frequent events, festivals including free concerts and performances, movie festivals and fashion week. During the winter it becomes ice rink. Kiosks at its northwest corner offer coffee and light meals. Movable furniture allows to seat anywhere you want. There is also a carousel in the park which is the most place of attraction for the children. There were not so many people as it’s usually in the summer while I was there. I saw a couple seating on one of the tables having quick coffee; some other people were passing through.
