For this project i was thinking about creating a soundscape for a cartoon. I have found an old (1933) black and white cartoon called “The Air Race” . Its a Willie Whopper cartoon by Ub Iwerks. The cartoon is under Contribution 3.0 creative commons license, so it is legal to share and to remix the media. This cartoon is perfect for a whole bunch of different sound effects. I want to try to modernize this old cartoon with modern sound effects.

I have cut out a couple of scenes that seemed to make no sense. It also made a video about a minute shorter. I’m about half way done with the soundscape. My goal to make it as good as possible, so I’m spending a lot of time on editing sound effects and making them work for my video.
