Vignette #2 Water the Essence of Life

Another inspiring image. This is one of the winners in Good 50×70 poster design competition. I think this is a very clever and simple way to raise attention to such a serious issue as water conservation. The design is incredibly simple and at the same time expresses a lot. I think that the way the text is incorporated into the image is very clever and beautiful.

The image I used for this page’s header shows a desalination plant at the UK’s Thames Gateway facility which uses reverse osmosis technology for producing potable water.

I wanted to share this with you because I think that a strong image like this can clearly represent an issue that our society is facing nowadays and also be visually intriguing.
