For this project, I explored a series of different designs, which include a Design Hero Poster, Ligature, using the ligature to design a cube and the interplay between letters and design elements that begin with the same letter.
Book Cover Design

This cover was designed for a college awards ceremony as part of my Design Team coursework, where each student was tasked with creating a graduation ceremony cover. The central theme of my design is life transitions through growth, symbolizing academic progress and personal transformation. This piece was selected as the winning design for the 2026 Academic Excellence Awards Cover, representing the New York City College Of Technology commitment to achievement and advancement.

In my Design Team class, we were asked to create a cover for the Academic Excellence Awards and the Commencement. For my commencement cover piece, this design was selected as one of the finalists.

This is a mock up of a book cover design created for my illustration class. The theme is based on Little Red Riding Hood, and the assignment was to select a childhood classic story and reimagine its cover art.

3711 COMD Final
For this project, which served as the final assignment for my 3711 COMD class, we focused on experimenting with the horizontal grid system in Adobe Illustrator to design buildings. The goal was to apply the grid system as a foundational tool to create structured and cohesive architectural compositions. This project allowed me to explore how precise alignment and spatial organization can contribute to effective design.

For this project, I experimented with shapes and colors to create potted plants in Adobe Illustrator. I used a repetitive design technique to transform a single plant image into a seamless wallpaper pattern. By repeating and modifying the plant shapes, I was able to create a visually dynamic pattern that mimics the aesthetic of a lush, vibrant garden. The process allowed me to explore both geometric and organic elements in design, while experimenting with how color can influence the overall mood and flow of a pattern.

For this art piece, it was a lab exercise of intertwining vector lines to create lollipops and candy canes.

For this project, I focused on creating and experimenting with branches and leaves. I developed custom brushes for both the branches and leaves to give the design a unique and organic feel. Once I finalized a vector that I was satisfied with, I explored the use of gradients to add depth and dimension to the design. I particularly enjoyed the process of learning how to create custom brushes in Illustrator, and I found it rewarding to apply them effectively throughout my work.
Sticker Design

This sticker design features Klee from Genshin Impact, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. My goal was to give the character a doll-like, playful charm. I had the pleasure of selling this design at the MoCCA Festival last year, and it was a great experience!

This is club sticker design I made for ink club as a group collaboration, the theme for the club at the time was fables and mythology.

Personal Flag
Reflection
This is the final version of my personal flag. The flowers including the stem are yellow lilies which signify thankfulness and joy. Each flower are different categories represent groups of individuals that I care for.
The small little seed represents myself, the egg-shaped dome around the flowers and seedling is my comfort zone.
The colors I used were two of the primary colors, which are cyan and yellow. I chose cyan because it represents tranquility, and creativity. These two attributes I feel are relatable to me. The same can be said for yellow which symbolizes warmth and cheerfulness.
I would say I have a calm composure which is why the majority of the flag is cyan, and the yellow signifies my warmth attribute. The stripe goes through the dome of the egg to signify a stronger sense of warmth with people I’m closest too.

Eat Right, Be Bright- Sunchips

Insight:
The American diet with snacks is frequently reliant on taste than health benefits. When you look at food labels the list of unhealthy ingredients consists of excess saturated fats, sodium, and added sugars that can lead to health problems that occur as early as childhood. But If you take the time to learn how to read food labels and choose what is best for you or your loved ones. Choosing the right snack with healthier ingredients can lessen negative health factors when learning at an earlier stage of childhood.
Concept:
We all want what is best for our little ones, they can be children from our family, or our students and this begins with eating healthy. Children love snacks and it’s usually sugary ones. Parents and elementary schools want a healthy alternative snack for children to enjoy that not only is sweet tasting, but can be eaten with other healthy snacks like fruits and vegetables in accompaniment. This way we can teach our kids healthy eating at the early stage of their life.

Schools and Parents

Insight:
We were tasked to create visuals which aligns with the premise of the campaign of chosen group. We studied the video ads and reviewed the visual patterns, detect the
story line, slogan and strategy behind the campaign. We also used the material at hand to re-create a new visualization for the same idea.
Concept:
My team and I thought about which holiday best represents candy, and we chose Halloween. Since Halloween revolves around trick-or-treating and aligns with the Sour Patch Kids motto, “Sour. Sweet. Gone.”, we decided to show the Sour Patch Kids going out trick-or-treating. Our team divided the concept of “Sour. Sweet. Gone.” into sections, and my assigned theme was sweet, which is shown through the fun and enjoyable side of the Sour Patch Kids’ Halloween experience.

Character Design

Reflection
This is a character sheet I made for a webcomic collaboration with a friend of mine. Over all I love how the design sheet came out. The green eyes refer to abundance with nature. Yellow hair represents intellect and caution. The teal color of the school uniform represents morality and renewal, all the students will wear a teal uniform.

For my Anthropomorphism character design assignment, I had the opportunity to explore new creative territory. It was both exciting and challenging to design a character with a skeleton structure, something I’d never tried before. This project pushed me to think outside the box and expand my artistic boundaries in ways I hadn’t expected. The experience was not only fun but also a great exercise in pushing my skills to new perspective.
