Project VI – Transparency

Transparency in 2D design is simply the quality of being able to see through (or partially see-through) one or more layers in an artwork. Like texture, transparency can be real or it can be implied or suggested.

At first, we need to use illustrator to create a design made from abstract shapes and make them overlap each other. It requires to use Primary or Secondary color, the one on the right side is the wrong example I have done first.

After we finished our part 1, we need to find two photographs to create a textured interplay. I choose a picture of the sea and a picture of the road, and put both pictures into photoshop to make it out. The processing is very interesting, and it is my first time to use photoshop to do something in this way.
