The use of lines allows the artist to demonstrate delicacy or force. Lines are used to creating shape, pattern, texture, space, movement, and optical illusion in design. This assignment lets me explore how lines can work in art, and use them to create different unique patterns.
In this assignment, we are required to focus on two main themes. (Power and Fragility) So, I need to choose the words that I feel are related to power and Fragility, and then, use lines to create circles, triangles, rectangles, or squares to do my thumbnail sketches which relate to the words I have chosen.
