November 2014- July 2015

Worked on a fast-paced sales floor, providing customers the best shopping experience as possible. Providing them with the right sizes in clothing, shoes and proper accessories. Along with processing transactions for the customers, at the end of their shopping experience.

 

Clarks- Sales Associate

August 2015- February 2016

Worked on the sales floor with multiple customers, in finding the proper shoes to the individual needs of each customer. Retrieving shoes from the stock room and close possible seconds if needed to provide the customer a chance to order their choice of shoe. Then finishing their shopping experience by processing the final transactions for the customer.

 

New Student Orientation Leaders (OLs)

Orientation Leaders worked with the staff of the department of Student Life and Development with the duties and responsibilities of implementing Student Orientation for Academic Year 2016-2017. As a result of training and implementation for New Student Orientation programs, Orientation Leaders developed leadership, facilitation, communication, and public relation skills by assisting new and transfer students in their transition to the City Tech community.

  • Assist in the implementation of orientation programs for new and transfer students and their parents
  • Serve as a role model for incoming students and peers
  • Facilitate and lead group discussions with first year students
  • Support and participate in faculty-led group meetings with first year students
  • Escort first year students around campus, pointing out key facilities and offices
  • Assist in the set-up and take down for orientation events
  • Attend training sessions for student orientation leaders Coordinate, facilitate, and maintain an orientation group’s involvement with the community’s broader welcoming and social programming events, as well as small group activities, during the first ten weeks of the fall semester
