My internship is fully in person, and the office has an amazing view of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline. Every time I walk into the office, I am in awe of the scenery. Since the company I work for is still relatively new, there are only a few employees. I work very closely with the owner, as well as the marketing and design team, which allows for frequent collaboration and communication.
The workflow is relatively simple. We begin each week with a meeting to discuss our tasks and objectives, and then everyone works on their assigned responsibilities. This was something I had to adjust to because I was used to completing one task each day. In this internship, however, the assignments are more in-depth and often take several days to complete. One aspect I really enjoy is working closely with the owners, as it makes it easy to ask questions and gain a clear understanding of what they are looking for in both my research and design work.
