Defeat Monster Mouth

My classmates and I went to an after school program to teach a group of 6-8 years old kids how to take care of their teeth.

We made the poster displayed to kids what we going to teach them. 

 

There are two teeth on the poster, one is a healthy tooth and another one is a decayed tooth. We made some food stickers, so the kids can participate and join us. They were able to identify and learn what food is good or bad for their teeth. 

One of my group members taught them how to take care of their mouth routinely and brushed their teeth with Fone’s techniques. I showed them what she taught in a mouth model with a toothbrush. 

Tell-Show-Do: After we taught and showed the kids how to brush their teeth properly. We passed the mouth model to them and let them try on their own. 

After the presentation, we gave the kids a goodie bag to take home. They were very interested in our presentation on oral care and learned something from it. Also, they said that they want to come to our school clinic to let us clean their teeth. ^_^
