March 9 we looked at the parent/child relationships of page elements, and how you can use those relationships in CSS. We also expand upon our custom id selectors with the introduction of the “class” attribute, which lets you define a custom selector and share it among any number of elements. We’ll use these techniques to start work on the “timeline” page of the digital pioneer websites.

We also looked over favicons, the small icons/logos which (among other things) appear with a site’s title in their browser tab.
