These are OK… but you can do better. The KKK hood in the oval office is TOO EASY. TOO OBVIOUS. The xmas lights and the toy kit are more subtle and clever.
I think you should take your successful thumbnails- and you have a bunch, and scale them up on a copier or using PS. Then transfer using lightbox or graphite paper – so you keep all proportions…THEN DRAW and revise. You may get a dramatically better result.
