The Astor Chinese Garden Court – FINAL PROJECT

I chose The Astor Chinese Garden Court for my final project because the gallery contained many repeating forms and patterns while maintain a sense of calm and simplicity.
There were objects that I could put a lot of detail into, such as the rock formations and the glazed tiles of the curved roofs

This statue really got my attention from the way it moves and the details it has. It’s been told that elephants symbolize some sort of luck and I feel that it gives me energy.
