My favorite thing to watch this semester was Coraline. Surprisingly, I had never watched it before despite hearing so much about it. I am not really into thriller/ horror so i haver had any interest in watching it. However, when watching it I was very engaged and entertained. I enjoyed the movie because it took me out of my comfort zone, and widened my scope of gothic themes in film. My least favorite book to rad was Young Goodman Brown. I had difficulties understanding the plot of the story and what it was supposed to really mean. I didn’t know which parts were real or imaginary, and the more I read it, the more I got confused.
