• What was your favorite thing that you were assigned to read, watch, or complete this semester? Why?

I enjoyed this semester very much. The videos assigned to us were very refreshing to me and appreciated professor’s enthusiasm and how relatable Gothic Literature became to us. My favorite assignment to read was the Cask of Amontillado, I understood it clearly and it was so interesting to read. I loved the way the two protagonists spoke to each other. I also appreciated the chance to watch the Batman again.

  • What was your least favorite thing that you were assigned to read, watch, or complete this semester? Why?

I tried my best to enjoy everything in this class and take advantage of anything new that I would learn in Gothic Literature. My least favorite book was A Rose for Emily, it did not really grasp my attention and I struggled to understand the storyline.
