The revision I made was for Blog 5, and that was to leave a comment on a classmates post, which I did not do. I made a comment on Cindy R’s post which stood out to me because she mentioned internal conflicts as being a theme in gothic literature. This is a theme that I have overlooked in the stories read this semester and other gothic stories I have read outside this course. Aubrey and Manfred both had an internal conflict, Aubrey with his unbreakable oath and the knowledge he had on Lord Ruthven, and Manfred and his unholy desires.
