Blog 4…

She was the most beautiful girl I have laid my eyes upon. I visited her once upon a time in her nursery when she was six years old. Not wanting to scare her, I just wanted to gaze upon her beauty and admire her for some time. She seemed to be in some distress, and my first instinct was to try to comfort her. I then lay beside her and pulled her closer to me, trying to soothe her. Just within a few seconds, she fell into a deep sleep. I ran my hands through her hair as I smiled, and I continued to admire the beauty of every feature placed upon her face. I felt as if I was getting too comfortable. Shortly after, she was awakened by a sensation she had felt, I just might have gotten a bit carried away. It was not my intention to hurt or scare her, but it seemed as though that had happened. As she cried, her room started to flood with people, so I hid under the bed. I knew that they would search her room so as they were trying to comfort her, I made my way out through the window.

As they searched, I stood at the window peeking in just to get one more glance of her beauty. I must say I was vexed; my precious moment was ruined, and I could not get over it, but nevertheless, in the near future we shall meet again, my dearest Laura.

Hi, Nice entry. I find this scene interesting too while reading it. I was thinking what if it was all planned by Carmilla since knowing that vampires like to play games with human mind and maybe her intention was to eat Laura lol.

    Hi Saffira,

Great entry, I felt transported into Carmilla’s mind. This story is so intriguing, I never understood the vampire craze back in middle school but I do now!

Hi Saffira, I love your interpretation of Carmilla’s perspective. ” Shortly after, she was awakened by a sensation she had felt, I just might have gotten a bit carried away.” It’s like Carmilla herself had not even had much thoughts to herself when she had done it, she was taken back from Laura’s beauty and didn’t even think of her own actions. Nice touch!

Hi Saffira, I loved your way of wording this blog post, it allowed me to have an easy interpretation of your “POV”.

Hi, Safira! I really enjoyed your post, this perspective is really interesting and sounds a lot like what Camilla could’ve been thinking about during that moment. Great job and thanks for sharing!
