Hi, my name is Donna Liu. I will be going into the program spring 2015. I’m very excited to have been accepted and willing to take on any challenges there. My position will be housekeeping. I was wondering what I could expect from that position from a students POV. How many rooms do you normally clean? How are the hours generally for a HSKP shift? Is the Disney Look required everywhere you go during those couple of months?

I have heard for housekeeping you get a set shift either morning which is 8-4:30 or 4-12:30. You are allowed to keep your tips and sometimes items left by the guest, after approval of your leader. I have heard the number of rooms would depend on your shift (AM gets more rooms). I believe the Disney look is required everywhere you go unless you to to the parks as a guest, the classes are business casual. There are also not many CP’s and you will be working alone.
