This week I been pretty busy, I had been working longer hours at Epcot. There was the princess marathon that was fun and we are now preparing for flower garden this upcoming week. I had been going to meeting and getting knowledgeable of this event that is until May 7. It sounds very interesting and I can’t wait till it starts. We going to have flowers everywhere and bands playing every weekend. We even going to have high school bands come in to play and sing.
So I have received an email about extending. I had been thinking about extending since before I got here. The applications start tomorrow and it ends on March 11. Basically I have less than two weeks to decide and apply. I have a lot on my plate. I love this place and my job, but if I decide to extend I would like to explore another role. The bad thing is that they not giving me many options of the roles to choose from. I haven’t fully decided yet, because I keep thinking of back home, my personal life. If I extend it till July 30, hopefully everything turned out great for me,lets see what happens.
I think you’re in an awesome role as you’re in the prime area for special events. At my location, we were only briefly given information about the princess marathon and the flower and garden festival. I wish we had meetings specifically about the festival! I hope that even with the long hours, you are not too stressed and able to have fun. Last time when I saw you at Epcot you were all smiles, which was wonderful to see!
With the deadline to extend coming up in two days, what are your final thoughts on extending? I’m also very conflicted between extending or going back home. Keep me updated on what you think you’ll be doing! Whatever we choose, I’m sure it will turn out well, but it’s nice to have someone in the same boat as myself.
