Today I had the best week. I had the opportunity to do a shadow day with a coordinator in Art of Animation Resort. I learned so much from these coordinators. Certain things I was already familiar with since I have previous management experience but the fact that I was doing it in Disney as a CP made the experience so much more rewarding. It was fun but in the beginning I found it a bit difficult because I am usually the one that likes to do the work and seeing others doing the work all I wanted to do was jump in and help but after a while I got into the management mentality and delegated to my co-workers what needed to get done. Once I did this switch everything else just fell into place. The experience was so great and I felt extremely blessed to have been given this opportunity.
