Weekly Journal #10

In about month ill be heading back home to finish my last semester. They are not kidding when they said time would go by fast. During the last couple of weeks has been busy and then there is that one day where we have not much to do. Working 6 days is a good thing but at the same time its tiring and time consuming. Most of my days I would go straight home around, sleep and wake up the next day with only enough time to make lunch and dinner and back at work. While on my days off I try to do as much as I can while going to explore the parks, get to meet characters and lately with our discounts, I’ve been taking advantage of dinning at some of the Disney Resorts and parks. I want this experience to be memorable, even though I am a cast member I still want that guest experience. Character dinning has been my far most favorite thing I have ever done. Whether you have breakfast, lunch or dinner it’s the most magical moment. The food is amazing, but the magic starts with getting seated, our waiter introducing him or herself explaining what will happen during the time dinning and they are extremely attentive. Later when the characters start to come out whether you are 5 years old, 22 years old or 70 years old you can’t help but feel this excitement that your favorite character is about to greet you. So far I have been to 4-character dinning and it’s my favorite activity.

  1. Awesome, I’m glad you’re finding time to enjoy yourself. I’ve also been to Cape May Cafe for breakfast and got to meet goofy. I was so excited since he’s one of favorite characters. I haven’t had the chance to go to many other character dinning but I have gone to eat at other places like ESPN, Sanaa, and Paradiso 37.

AH! I want to eat at all those restaurants that you’ve just visited. Now I have to check my bank account to see if I can afford most of them. I went to Cape May during dinner time but I never saw any characters! Why is that?!?!
