Journal Entry 12

Last week was really nice! We had our Winter Formal for the college program! I really appreciate and love the way that the leaders and managers of our program will do little events to boost morale. I think it so smart and effective. It can get repetitive, annoying and a little frustrating working for Disney. But when they have these events you really have to stop and appreciate all the effort that goes into the process just to show us we are appreciated. They had a plethora of character, heroes and villains! This event really made me think of the Read and React 4 assignment and how jobs in general do certain things to retain employees and “magic” throughout the company. I never worked for a business where they really honored that.

    I had such a great time at the winter formal. However, the only person I saw from city tech was Matthew! I didn’t see anybody else 🙁 But I danced till I dropped. I always believed a lady should never take off their heels but that night, those heels came off the minute I stepped into the dance floor haha. As for the leaders, I applaud them, they do a great job in keeping our excitement alive.
