Working the register in Disney’s food court could get very hectic at times, but when a group of middle school soccer girls come along and want to be your best friend, really puts a smile on your face. I found my self in an hour long conversation with these girls, and I never thought that I could actually have fun with a girl soccer team. I actually felt like a kid again, and the best part was that after they left one of these girls brought her mother over to tell her that I’m her new best friend and wanted me to meet them at Hollywood studios the next morning. I could honestly say that that was one of my best days at work.

An hour conversation at the register? I’m surprised no one said anything to you. The server gets upset in my restaurant if I was at the table with the guests more than a minute because they’re having a conversation with me. However, that was a greatly uplifting moment.
Those type of guest interactions really make my day too. They remind me to slow down, and refuel me for the rest of the day.
