First drawing

This was my first drawing and the inspiration for this drawing was just basically a quick sketch in where I took the quote literal. So what you see in this drawing was basically when the quote said if you stare into the abyss the abyss stares back ;so I just put a sketch of a giant eye staring back at a person.

Second Drawing

Third Drawing

The second drawing was a little upgrade of the first drawing in where I portrayed the same concept as the first drawing but with an additional eye and inside the iris of the eye I wanted to put the galaxy. I wanted to do that because some people see the abyss as the galaxy because its so vast and wide.

This is the last  Drawing in which the person is staring into the ocean form the docks. I wanted to use this concept of the ocean because the ocean is so vast and unknown people also call it the abyss or say there many similarities. I also put just a eye there as well to see how it would look when I finally put it onto a computer.

First Final Quote PDF

This final concept was based off the first and second drawing in where I had a zoomed in eye but the galaxy was in the persons eye. I went with this concept because I felt as if it fit the image I imagined when I first read the quote. The lady stared into the abyss of the night sky and so the abyss stared back.

Second Final Quote

Second Final Quote PDF

This second part one derived from the first sketch drawing in where I tried to keep the concept of the eye but I also added in the concept of the abyss just being dark and blank. At first it might appear that its a blank page but then when  ou read the quote and you stare long enough into the so called blankness of this picture something will appear to you. In the process of this concept I realized based on different computer screens it would be harder to see what you supposed to see so it would be best to view this picot on a brightness of 50% or higher.

Third quote PDF

The third and final quote was based of the image concept of the second quote in where the image blended in with the background but instead of the image blending in the text or quote fades into the background.  I thought this was a cool concept because as your reading/staring at the quote its slowly fades which gives you the feeling that you might fade away as well.
