Here’s an exciting new opportunity for Undergraduate Researchers and students in Health Sciences at City Tech: a Journal Club! Check out their new Journal Club site on the OpenLab.
In Session 1 of the new Journal Club 1, Prof. Gurung, along with Lead Discussant Brett Millar, PhD, will lead participants through a consideration of the following question:
Is the association between adverse childhood experiences and later depression buffered by the trait of psychological flexibility?
Students are required to read this article in advance of the meeting.

Following Using OpenLab for your Research Project on Tuesday, join Profs. Kim and Rahman for the Research Types and Methods Panel.
This session takes place on Thursday, October 20th, from 1-2:00PM. Be sure to register for Research Types and Methods and then join when it’s time!
This semester’s workshop are off to a successful start, thanks to the effort of the workshop leaders and organizers, and of course to the curious and lively student participants!
Next in the workshop schedule is Using OpenLab for your Research Project, led by Prof. Rosen and the OpenLab Community Team. Register for the workshop and join on Tuesday, October 18th, 3:30-4:30PM.

If you are participating in an undergraduate research program, the Fall 2022 workshops start next week with workshops on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Students participating in an undergraduate research program have many workshop options to choose from throughout the semester–so undergraduate researchers, now is the time to sign up! And mentors, now is the time to encourage the student researchers you work with to sign up!
To start the semester’s workshop offerings, the OpenLab Team invites all students to join them for a workshop on presenting yourself online
The session is on Tuesday, Oct. 11th, from 3:30-4:30 PM. Remember, it’s right after Monday’s holiday!
