“I embark on this art journey first by practicing to draw Disney Princesses, Anime, and some of my favorite cartoons” Tiana Twist.
Tiana Twist is an aspiring graphic designer, digital artist, and student at the New York City College of Technology pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Arts. She was born in the Central American country of Belize and during her formative years, she was creatively influenced by her dad who drew images of her mom and herself, painted ordinary landscapes, and drew various cartoons. As a result Tiana, from a very early age, tapped into her artistic side and commenced a mission fueled by her amazement with the art world and the various mediums and forms art manifests itself. Tiana continued to practice her skills and expanded them driven by her enthusiasm for what she thought would just be a hobby. These experiences all affected the career path she took.
She is like a sponge, soaking up everything. She dabbles in and makes an effort to experience everything art-related realizing that this isn’t going to be an easy task and she needs to remain focused if she is to fulfill her artistic goals. She expanded her skills, broadened her horizons, and accepted the graphic design world with open arms, breaking down walls, tackling challenges, and designing problems in an innovative way. Tiana Twist shines new light and brings a new ”Twist” to everything she creates.
