Learning Self- Analysis of the Bachelor’s Program
Starting out in the Bachelor’s Degree Program was completely different from the Associates Degree Program. Everything was at a slow pace and you learned each concept as it went by. It was often very difficult for me in the beginning when I would read the chapters that were assigned, because it was not as the content I learned and mastered in the Associates Degree Program. I had to find a way to study so I developed a rhythm in which I can be in tune with my studies. I began to realize that the material I was learning went hand in hand with what I learned in the Associates Degree Program but it was on a broader level of understanding. It helped me to critically think which I am taking into consideration when I am in my respected work related area. I began to understand the importance of delegation, leadership, case management, and being a professional registered nurse throughout the patients stay at the hospital. The information I learned gradually integrated into my world of acceptance and understanding. The purpose of obtaining a higher level degree is of great importance to me, because with higher education I am able to open my mind to a world of opportunities and comprehension. I am now able to utilize the conceptual frameworks and models that I received from the Bachelor level courses and integrate them into reality and the lives of the patients I care for each day.
