Astra Taylor (born September 30, 1979)is a Canadian American documentary filmmaker, writer, activist, and musician. Taylor is a co-founder of Debt Collective, a debtors’ union fighting to cancel debts.

In 2018 she made the film: What is Democracy We won’t have time to watch the complete film but I would like to watch a bit together.
