TYPOGRAPHY

This is a fashion logo ad for Chanel. Chanel is a very popular fashion brand all around the world. This logo is interesting to me because the contrast of black and white is very intense. I love how you can recognize this logo anywhere. The fonts are used to create the word ”Chanel” on the bottom of the ad, and two C’s joined together at the top. The two C’s at the top of the ad are in a bigger font to show more importance because they are the signature for the brand. This style is very unique and it looks good when it is printed on clothing and accessories.

   Typography has a big influence on the audience of the sample because it is what attracts us to the sample. It also has a way of delivering a message. Depending on how the typography of a sample looks, it can communicate to its audience in a positive or negative way. The impact has to be big if you are trying to attract an audience, especially when marketing. People are attracted to good looking things.
