Orange eSIM Information for Students
For this trip, we recommend using the Orange Travel eSIM. Orange is one of the largest mobile providers in Europe and offers reliable coverage, easy setup, and strong value for international travelers. The eSIM can be installed before departure and activated upon arrival in Europe.
Important: Keep Your U.S. Phone Number
Students who use two-factor authentication for City Tech, email, banking apps, or other accounts should keep their U.S. phone number active on their device.
The Orange eSIM provides a French phone number but it does not replace your U.S. number. Most modern phones support Dual SIM/Dual eSIM, allowing both numbers to remain active simultaneously. This means you can:
- Continue receiving authentication codes sent to your U.S. number.
- Use your U.S. number for important logins.
- Use Orange data and services while traveling in Europe.
Which Orange Plan Should You Choose?
