For our second weekend in Paris, my first stop of the day was to the local Flea Market located on Avenue Georges Lafenestre 75014 Paris, France, which was a 20-minute walk from the hotel where I got two bags. They had a lot of brooches and cutlery options to choose from.
My second stop of the day was the Musée de la Magie. I got the earliest ticket at 2:00 pm, where I got to see how magic tricks evolved. I learned about Harry Houdini, who is a famous escape artist. It was during 1898 when he performed his famous act called “Challenge Act”, which led to him getting the nickname the “Handcuffs King”. He was known for being able to escape any pair of handcuffs. One of the most famous acts that he performed was the “Water Torture Cell”, where he was submerged underwater upside down in a tank, and he had to escape from his handcuffs within 2 minutes. They also had a magic trick performance where they did card and cup tricks.
My last stop in the day was Gyoza Bar, where they had an all-you-can-eat Gyoza, also known as dumplings. They offer a variety of options of Gyoza such as chicken, pork, beef, vegetable, fish, and shrimp. I got the pork Gyoza, and I also got a cucumber salad with sesame seeds and chili. The food was amazing, and the server spoke English, so it was easy to communicate.
