Practices of Infection Control Among Dental Care Providers: A Cross Sectional Study
I analyzed a cross-sectional study on infection control among dental providers in Jordan. This research was significant in evaluating the level of adherence to infection control practices among dentists and dental staff. Through this analysis, I deepened my clinical understanding of the importance of consistently maintaining proper infection control measures. Applying these practices helps minimize the risk of transmitting or acquiring infectious diseases, ultimately contributing to a safe and healthier dental environment for both patients and providers.
DEN 2300: Reflective essay
Reflecting on the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment highlighted the critical importance of informed consent and strong ethical standards in healthcare. This unethical clinical study, which withheld treatment from African American men without their knowledge, serves as a powerful reminder of the consequences when patients’ rights are ignored. It reinforced my commitment to always prioritize transparency, respect, and ethical responsibility in my future practice as a dental professional.
