What is one teaching strategy you use?
In the first half of the semester I have students create a set of documents (drawings and specs) and in the second half of the semester they are forced to use the documents another group created rather than their own so that they can better understand where the gaps in information are, what questions need to be answered, and how better to create future docs.
What is one learning strategy your students could use to be successful in your course?
Independent research is a must – students must be able to go out and find primary sources and incorporate them into their own creations.
