Health Psychology

As a student who had taken health psychology, I found that stress management was key to our overall behavior.  A program called LiveWell showed students like me how to exercise properly, eat healthy, and how to manage stress in your life.  For example, before using this program, I was not eating any fruits or vegetables and exercising at all.  However, that changed when I became informed through the LiveWell program.  The program had developed a plan to show me what to eat and not to eat.  When it came down to managing stress, the program offered quite a few options in dealing with it.  Stress can come in different forms, it depends how you adjust to it.  One form of managing stress that the program showed me was to talk to someone and relieve the negative burden inside of you.  Another form of managing stress is to simply go and exercise.  Whether it is a walk or a jog or even yoga, it is a reminder that stress does not have to rule our lives.  We have options.
