This picture was taken in Baffin Island near Canada on December 2017. As you can see on the photo, a scruffy polar bear  struggles to survive on the plains that were once covered in ice. The polar bear was starving after it was unable to hunt for food with its mode of traveling on the water had melted away .It’s naturally muscular body begin to atrophy and it eventually died. This photograph triggers a very emotional response just from seeing a once strong animal wither away as it staves to death.

1)How would you describe the look of the polar bear? What do you think that led to the photograph or wanting to document such a sad situation?

2)Why have we allowed our climate to change so drastically that it affects wildlife like this?
