An Overview: Types of Digital Agencies, Researching Trends and Why, Case Studies

Objectives

The world of advertising generally is clearly understood commercials and ads are everywhere we look. However, it’s important to look at where advertising comes from and the structure of the advertising agencies that work with brands. In this class, we will look at the business structure of advertising agencies, what they do, and look at the impact the industry has on culture.

In addition, in each class we will look at trends and news in the world of digital as it’s an important element of research when thinking of advertising campaigns. We’ll look at what is going on in the world, trends, successes and failures.
