SK Beauty was founded in 2021 and partners with organic farming who supplies plentiful antioxidant ingredients to empower astonishing healthy skincare solutions.  Our team collaborates with Ph.D. chemists, microbiologists, physicians, and dermatologists to designate the best formula in each natural product without potentially harmful ingredients.   Our goal is to proffer organic skincare products, which can help prevent impaired skin, restore damaged and dull skin, and provoke a youthful look that enlightens your confidence.

Domestic and International Retailing

Besides the domestic market in South Korea, SK Beauty amplifies internationally.  Domestic trade is associated with the internal market or home market, in which the manufacturers, wholesalers, or retailers only offer goods or services within the nation’s geographical boundaries.  The transactions are interchanging between villages, towns, cities, or states inside the country (CommerceMates, 2021).  Internal trade enhances self-sufficiency and empowers domestic employment opportunities for a nation.  It could significantly impact if essential goods depend on other nations due to the logistics or political uncertainty. But domestic retailing has an inadequate resource to grow its business and limited the potential revenue.  On the other hand, international retailing allows multiple countries to exchange goods or services through import, export, or directly selling products to overseas consumers such as Amazon or AliExpress. Retailers desire to interact with international business because saturated on the home (Sternquist & Goldsmith, 2018, 13).  Other reasons for that include innovating the first-mover asset and flourish the market share in foreign countries. International retailers benefit many customers worldwide and access global resources that intensify efficiently (Commercemates, 2021).    Retailers could face substantial challenges during international expansion.  They must care, analyze and understand consumers’ needs regarding their cultural background and lifestyle to provide the right products or services to its ultimate customers.

Sustainability

SK is a sustainable beauty company emphasizing sustainable practices throughout the production.  More than 40% of our products are in glass containers.  Furthermore, we are transforming to eliminate the use of Virgin Plastic and focus on recycled Ocean & Land Waste Plastic.  Our packing boxes are made with 100% FSC paper that protects forest ecology and wildlife habitats.

Corporate Responsibility

As women make up most SK Beauty consumers, our team created the SK Beauty Charitable Foundation (SKCF) to help women across the nation inspire their intense potential.  We partner with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in South Korea to promote breast cancer prevention and support clinical research integrated with new technologic medical approaches to explore metastatic disease and inquiry the new treatments.  SK Beauty is diverging our partnership with other nonprofits organizations that empower the inclusive community.
