Last week we explored “what is AI?” Specifically we looked at how they work, how they are trained Large Language Models explained briefly 3 Blue 1 Brown and we also looked at the AI Industry stack.
Today I would like us to think about two intersecting issues
- Bias with Dr Joy
- How big tech is stifling democracy
- AI and how it it is intersecting with war: The Conversation: From Anthropic to Iran: Who sets the limits on AI’s use in war and surveillance?

Brainstorming
Day 1: Brainstorm, prototype, test
- Kinds of Games with examples: Area Control/Influence, Resource Management, Cooperative Gameplay, Hidden Role/Traitor Mechanic, Set Collection, Negotiation or Variable Player Powers
- (all) research and write one idea per post-it note
- Brainstorm themes/stories/values
- (all) post-its
- Game mechanics and goals
- (all) post-its
We will break up into groups – Each Group choose one from each category
Follow the MDA method
- prototype
- play test
- adjust
- play test again with different class members (feedback)
- make adjustments
Document Everything!
