About Me

Shubham

Shubham Mahawar is a graduating senior in the Business and Technology of Fashion program at the New York City College of Technology, City University of New York (CUNY). During his time at City Tech, he has combined academic excellence—earning a spot on the Dean’s List—with hands-on industry experience that bridges both creative design and operational management.

As a fashion student with a strong foundation in global textiles, Shubham has immersed himself in the world of visual storytelling, design research, and fashion forecasting. He is passionate about understanding how brands connect with consumers—visually, emotionally, and ethically. While he values creativity and innovation, he is equally drawn to the strategic and business-driven side of the industry. From leading retail teams to contributing to couture design development, Shubham thrives at the intersection of style and structure.

His internship at En-Toto Couture has allowed him to explore concept development, fabric sourcing, and the inner workings of a high-paced luxury design studio. At the same time, his leadership role as General Manager at Chipotle has sharpened his skills in team building, operations, and customer experience. This dual exposure to both the artistic and commercial aspects of fashion has given him a unique perspective on what it means to create meaningful work in today’s industry.

In this portfolio, you’ll find pieces that reflect his growth as a creative thinker, a business strategist, and a cultural observer. From trend reports and mood boards to real-world leadership experiences, each entry highlights his commitment to innovation, adaptability, and professional excellence.

As he prepares to enter the fashion and business industries full-time, Shubham looks forward to collaborating with brands and teams that share his values—those who are driven by purpose, progress, and a passion for impactful storytelling.
