Assignment 1: What I don’t like about science

Please write 4 short paragraphs by September 11.

  1. Tell me why you (don’t) like science
    • use valid reasons → Should not write “it’s boring”, “it’s hard” or “it’s not part of my major” (this will result in deductions)
  2. Tell me why you (don’t) like math (same rules apply)
  3. Tell me what you do like (outside of science) and why
  4. Tell me if science and/or math plays a role in your life (if at all) and what aspect of science you are interested in.

Leave as a comment to this page and make sure I have a way to identify you if it is not obvious from your display name. If I can’t identify you, you can’t get credit.

While you won’t get any extra credit, feel free to constructively comment on your peers’ entries. This is an attempt to create a useful conversation so that we can all meet each others’ needs in the context of learning Biology.

  1. Science to me can not be described with one word. It deals with so many other facts but still can relate and tie together to create something more than what it is. The unknown possibilities, the wonders, facts, beliefs, trials and errors are reasons why I love science. No matter what, with science their will always be an answer no matter how long it ties and the amount of work it may include. One answer to one problem. From molecules to constructing robots that collect samples on the moon. Science has no limit. It’s all around us, in the way we cook our foods, walk down the street to our body movements. When we live, eat and breathe science, what is there real not to like about it .

I can’t say that I don’t like math, what can I say though is that I’m not very fond of it. Math to me is very similar to science on terms of their will always be only one right answer. The worst part of math to me is formulating the answer. From using multiple techniques, equations, formulas and etc, you are usually able to from the answer. In my case I always end up using the wrong system. The ideas of numbers period scare me. Only because I know they are a elementary part of life and something I can not run from day to day. I manage eye suck it up and keep counting .After the many years of encountering Math I must day I still event gotten used to it but as time passes I have become more comfortable especially after realizing my strong and weak points.

Outside of science I love everything creative. Another subject that would probably relate to the would be art. As far as poetry, freelancing things that express me as a person. One thing I am most certain about myself i that I am interactive. In order to interest me, I must be able to interact physical with it . As far as touching, breaking things down, feeling, this is the only way I am able to understand and once I understand I can interact therefore making things interesting to me.

Both Science/Math play a role in my life everyday. As far as math things such as counting money to get on the bus, estimating how long it will take me to get to school, all these things incorporate and con inside with math. Science is also everywhere from the air we breathe to the mature and tree’s. Both go hand in hand and both play a role within my life. The aspect of science I am most fond of is the thing as fear as chemicals and molecules the experimental side of science is what I enjoy the most. Finding answers and making assumptions interest me when the answer is no evident and visible. This is what science does for me.

  2. Science can be explain is many different ways. Science is the study of nature. Why don’t i like science ? Well the reason why i don’t like science is because there isn’t really interesting with science. We’re just studying about nature and our physical being. Many of other people think it is very interesting because maybe they want to be a scientist when they get older, but for others it wouldn’t be there best field of study and what they want to learn.

Math is very easy and very hard for a lot of people. For me i can say that i don’t like math. I dislike math because of the way it is being taught and when i am in class i don’t really see it being interesting either. As i said before a lot of other people are a math wizards but for others math is just not there thing. I personally used to like math but now the way it is being taught it just isn’t very interesting to me anymore. This is why i dislike math.

Science can be fun at times, but there are other things that i like to do when i’m not in a science class. I love to work on computer, play music and listen to music, play basketball, and also drive. These are the things that i like to do outside of science because it keeps me motivated and they interest me in many ways. Science can be fun at time and boring but i like to do these things when i am outside or not in a science class.

Between Science and Math i can say that science plays a role in my life and can help me out in my future in some way. What i like about science that interests me and i think plays a role for my future is the labs that we do. Labs seem the most interesting to me because it is more hands on stuff and it doesn’t put me to sleep like my other classes do. What’s so interesting about the experiments in lab is that we observe what is going on in the experiment, we can predict what will happen (hypothesis) and we can record the results of the experiment as well as the theory of it. This is why i really think that science plays a role for my future.

  3. 1) Ugh science! What can I say about science? Well first of all I can say that I am not a fan of science mostly because science is too much to think about. For example I don’t need to know when you add baking soda to vinegar why it blow‘s up. I am also not a big fan of science because although it have to do with everything around us its never accurate and something is always changing which can be amazing but annoying.

    2) I can’t say that I am not a fan of math in fact I used to love math mostly because it is something that I can understand easy and you never have to worry about logarithms and why vinegar and baking soda blows up when you mix them. Although I still like math I am beginning to dislike it because the harder it gets the more annoying and confusing it becomes and I also do not need to know what‘s x to the 3rd plus 5x to the 3rd equal.

    3) i am intrigued by many things outside of science such as music, sports ect..mostly anything that drives my interest.

    4) Both science and math plays a significant role in my live. science is essential in life. Everything around us is science from the glass beneath our feet to the air that we breathe.just like science is essential in life mostly because everything we do is math the building we build to live in the amount of food we eat to stay healthy and especially the amount of money we use everyday.

  4. Math and science are so similar it’s fairly easy to see why many people in school dislike both. I for one can say I am in that category mainly because I have always struggled in both subjects. I feel like if I had good success in math I would be able to say I enjoy it. However that isn’t the case. I dislike math because our school system puts such an emphasis on it when almost everything outside of the standard addition, subtraction, division and multiplying is useless.

Dealing with more advanced math like algebra or calculus should be optional because there are obviously jobs that require that kind of math. However, if someone wants to be a construction worker basic math is the only math needed.

Moving onto science, I can say I do have a little interest in science. Mostly about the human body and how it works. I have always been interested in finding out why and how something happens inside our bodies. Such information like knowing how to stop a wound from bleeding can be useful information. Some parts of science I dislike are the confusing vocabulary which one would have to memorize to know them.

Things I enjoy outside of math and science are playing sports, video games, music, and writing. Obviously math and science both play a huge role in everyday life because science explains even the smallest things. For example, the opposite motion you feel inside a car when it suddenly stops deals with physics. Having an explanation for such little things really doesn’t interest me.

  5. In general, science cannot be described with one word because it is study of structure, behavior, and natural world through experiments and observation. Science is something that takes place everyday life. For instance, the type of food we see, smell, taste, touch, and hear about are all part of five sense in science. Furthermore, science not only tells fact about natural life but, sometimes, explained through observation and experiments. I don’t disapprove of science, yet there are some things that annoy and disappoint me because I don’t understand it. What interest me most is finding out what inside human body and how our response to these things. What I don’t like about science is when scientists use big names because for me they are hard to remember. Science is something that is inspiring me to know more and learn more.

Math is similar to science deals with integers, quantity, and space. Math has some rules that need to be followed step by step because that is the rules of math. If you don’t follow by the step the answer won’t come out right just like science. What I like about math is that I can play with numbers pretending that I’m doing science experiment and it gives me different results. I do that because that is the only way I can understand math. What I hate about math is using the negative numbers and fraction because to me I feel like they are extra work for me and sometime confuses me. Other than that, I love math!

Outside of math I like to hang out with friends, go shopping, read books, and help out my siblings. I just hangout with my friends to refresh my memory other than that, I like to stay home an. When I feel upset about something, I just go for shopping just to make myself happy. Last of all, I love to read mystery books because it is fun to read. However, I can’t read these days because I don’t have enough time for myself. I give my whole afternoon to my brothers and sisters because they need help with there own homework and they are a lot younger than me.

Math plays a role in my every day life because my dad has a small business where I kept count of everything. Such as how much money I spend on buying the supplies and how much money came out from selling it. not only that, I have to kept count of how much money my brothers, sisters, and I spend, so that we don’t go over budget since my dad is the only person that earns income in my family. Keeping count of the money is very difficult because we kept on taking money out and in.

  6. 1.) I actually like science, for me science provides an understanding of not only my surroundings but my physical being. Without science things such as the blood flowing through my body or the simple functions of my organs, tissues, and cells would be a mystery. I do find some assets of science to be somewhat tedious however; the vast majority is quite fascinating. Science isn’t just research and information it’s hands on and requires deep thought which is productive and exciting. Branches such as epidemiology, chemistry, neuroscience, and physics opened my eyes to seeing science as more than just the science fair projects I had to do when I was in fifth grade or those boring worksheets I had to complete in sixth grade. Science allows me to question and challenge, speculate and discover and these are the assets that keep me captivated in this subject area.
2.) I also happen to favor the subject of math, mostly because I find that math isn’t redundant. I feel that with math, you learn the basics and gradually it becomes more challenging. It is true that you must apply what you know to what you are learning (i.e. say you’re starting trigonometry, it’s important that you apply what you learned in Algebra and Geometry, because it plays an essential role in how well you keep up and comprehend the material). I noticed with math, there’s always more than one way to approach and solve a problem therefore, it strengthens my ability to make decisions.
3.) Outside of science, I am very artistic; I am a dancer, poet, and pianist. I personally like art, because it allows the artist to be spontaneous and free, whether an artist is holding a paint brush or prancing across the dance floor the story unravels itself as presented by the individual. The understanding of most art work is often misunderstood and that’s allowed. Things don’t particularly have make sense or be in a particular arrangement or order. For me, the main reason I favor art is because whether I’m scribbling my thoughts and playing the piano, I can lose myself and escape reality for a second, I don’t have to support of my actions with reasoning.
4.) Both math and science play a big role in my life, I pay more attention the scientific assets than mathematical assets. However, science is a part of who and what I am, it explains what surrounds me, and it’s directly related to my field of interest so science is basically everything to me. As for math, knowing how to count and solve problems is essential in the field of finances and decision making.

  7. 1) Science is basically the foundation of the earth and how it evolved to be the way that it is today. I personally like science because it finds any explanation to any question. Even if the question cannot be determined, there is always a theory that would be tested and researched about for that question. If it wasn’t for science and itself evolving, we would never have found cures for diseases, developed all the new technology that we have today nor knew the basic logic of evolution. I also favor science because it opens up the world of learning about different medicines, theories, and experiments.

    2) Math is the basic concept to every problem whether it deals with finance or calculating the distance of the earth from the sun. I like math as well as science because I like the challenge of calculating how much something would be worth. For example, if there was a sale in a store with percentages or even on daily grocery sprees; this includes math calculations. Math is all around us. We even calculate time; whether its how many hours we get to sleep or to wake up to run to our biology class in the morning.

    3) Outside of science, I am interested in many other things as well. I like listening to music but not only to listen to it I try to learn the lyrics and sing it on my own. I also like to swim as well as hang out with my friends while shopping for some new outfit when I don’t have to study or do any homework. Jogging is also a favorite of mine which I like to do in my free time to stay fit and healthy. I also read books when I get the chance; all different kinds of genres. I do all of these things because its who I am and its a part of my daily life.

    4) Both science and math play a role in our daily lives. In ways of which math plays a role in our lives is everything from counting money to buying supplies and food for school to counting calories on food labels. Science plays a role in our lives because its all around us even in our bodies. From atoms to the biosphere, from the air we breath to the stars in the sky; is all associated with science in our daily lives. Math and science is all around us and there is no way of hiding this fact. We live upon it everyday. The aspect of science that I am interested in is learning the medical side of it, whether its atoms or the nervous system. This is interesting to me because I want to learn more bout it and it relates to my major or any medical field I choose to go in.

  8. Science is a general topic that intertwines with many other subjects and life situations. I would never say I dislike science even though it can be frustrating, annoying and sometime hard to wrap your brain around a simple concept, these are some of the reasons why people tend “climb over it” because they fear the disappointments.
Honestly I don’t like math because I just don’t get it, period. One minute it’s there by the time I think of something else, it disappears. I think understanding math and knowing how to do math, are two major categories people in general misunderstood. I can be taught math and understand it, simultaneously the person don’t necessarily know how to apply the method in a real life situation.
I enjoy reading, playing volley ball and socializing. Well I like these activities for different reasons. I read because it keeps me focus, I play volley ball to get rid of anger and I socialize because it’s vital. I like to be proactive as long as I’m not sitting doing nothing.
Math and science plays a role in everyone’s life whether you believe it or not, it’s just that you don’t understand the purpose it plays. In my life science is important especially “Chemistry” I enjoy doing experiments, whether it’s safe or not. For math, even if you don’t think you are using math, you are regardless, buying your meal paying for fear on the subway. Calculating how many pages you’re going to read for class and budgeting yourself for the week, are all examples of math in our lifetime. Math and science are essential for our everyday life.

  9. Science has always been my least favorite subject, mostly because I’ve never really been great at it. Science, to me, requires a lot of time and dedication, mainly because you have to memorize almost everything about it. Science is a complicated subject for the very reason that every single detail is essential. If you don’t pay attention in one class, the next class you will be off track and it ends up being hard to catch up on.

Math on the other hand I enjoy a little more. It is still also very confusing as well as science because, unlike science, there is never really a yes or no answer to the problems. There are always different possibile answers and different ways to get them and that becomes confusing because now you don’t know which answer is the correct one (unless of course you have all the formulas memorized completely) – which again is very time consuming and can get confusing because you can use the wrong formula for a certain problem.

Outside of science I like many outdorsy activities. Such as biking, ice/roller skating, bowling, etc. I like to enjoy my youth as much as I can, while I can. I like music, mostly because of the way the instruments sound and how the lyrics in a song can correspond to my daily life. I also like working because I like to feel useful and I like to help people with their needs.

Science, whether people realize it or not, plays a major role in everyone’s life. Without it, we wouldn’t have half the resources that we do. Math i’m not so sure if it plays a role like how science does. The part of science that I am highly interested in is Anatomy. Although I know it is very complex, I still find it fascinating and that has always been a challenge that I wouldn’t mind trying to overcome.

  10. Its not that I do not like science but, there is so much information about science. Some information makes sense while others do not. Science basically explains why certain things occur. Scientists conduct experiments using the scientific method and the results sounds complicated to explain to a normal person who does not follow closely with science. Science explains everything we do from, thinking, eating and responding to certain actions. Without science life wound be a question waiting to be answered.
Math and Science both intertwine with each other. You need to know at least one to understand the other. Like science, I also math before I saw the letters in the alphabet in the problems and it started to get confusing. But we need all the formulas and rules in math for science can be explained.
Outside of science I am open-minded to explore and learn new things. I’m open to learn the inside and out of a computer. I want to learn to play different sports that I do not play such as soccer or football. Outside of science I’m usually playing basketball or under a hood of a car learning how to repair problems on a automobile.
Yes science plays a huge role in my life. When I play basketball I need to angle my body in a certain position to shoot the ball. When the ball is in the air gravity brings the ball down through the hoop. When I change the oil on my car I need to know the exact measurement of oil I need to add to my car or else my car will not function properly. Computers programs have many functions built in so it can operate smoothly for users.

  11. Many people argue that it is impossible to dislike science because its nature; its apart of life and is included in everything that we do in life. While all of this might in fact be true, I find myself firmly standing at the position of not liking science at all! Despite the reasons that I can not touch on in this brief essays such as science being boring and hard, there are so many more aspects to science that brings me to my conclusion. Science to start, is so difficult to grasp, there are so many things to learn because science is never constant, things are always changing, While some people might find this amazing, I, however disagree. Instead of amazing, i find this to be very overwhelming and impossible to ever get comfortable with or familiar with because something in science is always changing. Another reason is that science to me is not broken down enough. I feel like everyone just expects you to know science for example why do we have summer and why do have winter. Personally I feel as if no one can answer that. Even with the many theories people have in the world, we can never know exactly why things related to science actually occur. Science Isn’t taught like every other subject, in my opinion. In every science class I’ve been enrolled in, I never feel as if I’m learning as a beginner from steps, instead I always feel as if I’m expected to know these things, and I don’t which makes everything much more difficult to grasp and understand, and less enjoyable.

Math is a subject I recently found myself liking. Some people might find this to be strange. I hate science, but I like math. Yes, this is true. Math is not like science to me, and I am confused on how they are related. Unlike science, there are constant solutions to math. There are no problems that I know might be this answer one day, and tomorrow a different answer. There are formulas to help understand and to arrive at an answer with mathematics. With math, you are not just expected to know it, you are taught it from a beginner level and each and every step to a different subject. This way you are able to understand and it makes sense!

Outside of science, I enjoy English. That’s my subject! I enjoy writing, and I think I’m very good at it. To write is something you can do freely, it involves no experiments, and no changes you cannot explain, its just grabbing a piece of paper and scribbling down thoughts. Everyone has thoughts, that’s the easy part but making sense of these thoughts can be hard sometimes. Despite this, English is a subject I’ve been comfortable with since I can remember. Some people don’t like it for many odd reason I can not make sense of, perhaps the essays, the reading. From reading things, we learn more, and the writing isn’t bad at all, you are always given instructions on what to write about and you simply follow it. English is something that unarguable is apart of everyday life, we need it! It is rather hard to hate and also irrational.

Math plays a role in my life, from being able to count, this constitutes with money, I need to be able to know how to count to know how much I need to give for example in a store when purchasing and how much money I need to get back. There are numbers everywhere we look. The time; when I need to know how long it will take me to get ready and to travel to get to a certain place on time. It is unequivocal Math is a very important aspect of life. Science is incorporated in my life with the air that I breath to the trees that I see. I guess this is known as carbon dioxide, oxygen e.t.c. If I have to pick a part in science that i am interested in, it would have to be dissecting animals. You need no future knowledge of this, you aren’t expected to know anything. You learn things afterwards such as what that animal ate e.t.c, this is something that makes sense when explained because there is living proof.

  12. Science is something everyone comes across. Many different types of studies of science. Science to me is like candy to a baby. I love learning all these new facts about life and everything around it. Little things fascinate me even though I forget about half the things I learn in a few months. Science revolves around our lives, it is good to know all these information because we never know when might come across our lives.

Math is a whole new world compared to science. They both go together but in terms of material you learn during that course, it is completely different. I personally like math only because I feel for me it is easier to learn and comprehend. All the numbers that I input in my head just make so much sense. I’ve always excelled in this subject. All the formulas, all the rules that apply, it’s just something else! Math is second nature to me I believe.

When outside of school I enjoy being with my friends all the time. My true passion, my life is dance. Dance keeps me feeling alive, it keeps me sane. You’ll catch you moving my body whenever there is music. I may look idiotic but I can’t help it. My goal is to be able to teach and share my love for the art worldwide. So far only taught on the east coast, states like Boston, New Jersey and of course here in New York. I probably without a doubt won’t stop dancing for a really long time.

I had to think to myself if science or math plays a role in my life. I thought hard but it honestly doesn’t take much thought, life all around is science. Knowing how our bodies work from the inside helps with taking good care of them. And Math especially when you’re just roaming around shopping for just about anything, you obviously need to calculate discounts and promotions in your head prior purchase. Both math and science revolve around our lives like known other, we just don’t think about it as we’re actually demonstrating it in someway. I personally love the human nature, psychology always seems to keep me intrigued.

  13. Students all around the globe have a high dislike towards science and math. Science is a subject that involves a lot of memorization and math. Biology is a natural science involving the study of life and living organisms. This includes their function, growth, structure, and countless other topics. Biology contains many subdivisions. This science requires a great amount of memorization. This is one of the leading reasons that pushes student interest towards humanities. Memorization generally leads me away from focusing on the particular subject. Chemistry and physics cause a massive struggle. Chemistry requires the understanding of atoms and their interactions. Physics is another natural science that deals greatly with energy and force. Physics involves a lot of math. This heavy dependence of math in science also leads me to dislike the subject.

Math and science are interlocking subjects. Math is basically the science of numbers. Like science, math has subdivisions such as algebra, geometry, calculus, etc. Math is a subject that has one answer. You either answer the question right or wrong. Solutions in math are not disputable, unlike subjects such as English and Social Studies. While teaching math, teachers tend to take to the board. Different students have different ways of learning. Some are visual learners while others auditory. Therefore, teachers do not portray how to broach the subject in a manner that every student understands it. If I don’t understand the basic computations, I will not be able to understand the advanced ones. In math, one problem is built on another. My dislike towards math is simply only if I cannot understand what is being taught.

Outside of science, I have a great deal of interests. Primarily, I love playing basketball with some friends. Playing ball helps me decimate any stress. Aside from basketball, I tend to go out for drives to clear my head. Driving is an escape for me from my routine life. Also, I love spending time with my family because they always put a smile on face and fullfill my needs.

Science and math play key roles in our lives. Computers, internet, cell phones, trains, etc are all derived from science and math. Our everyday lives are filled with math and science, which we don’t apprehend. Science is deeply interwoven with our lives. Science affects us from the moment we wake up and throughout the day. Scientific knowledge improves the quality of life. Science provides me with answers to a number of questions that I have. In my opinion, everyone needs a basic foundation of math and science. We use math in our every day lives; while buying necessities from the store, budgets, etc. Math and science are essential to our daily lives.

  14. I dislike science because as much as I would love to understand the way of the world and its wonders, I never manage to do as great as I’d like in the subject. Being that science is never ending, there’s always something new to discover, understand and add on, it’s just frustrating. Including all the annoying unmemorable words such as, “Analogous, prokaryotes, Isomer.” I seem to study endless cruel hours just to forget the meaning the next day, and if I do get to memorize the definition I accidently switch it with another word. Then the math, thinking I’d only have to suffer in math class only for it to be connected to science. It’s like my two enemies pairing up to go against me.

Math is just a mix of numbers and letters that you constantly have to separate to answer a question, or at least that’s the way I look at it. I don’t like all of the equations you have to memorize correctly, or obviously you execute it all wrong. I also don’t appreciate that there’s so many ways to answer a type of question, because then you have to master all of them to pass an exam. Why not just stick to one method and not confuse the student? I do however enjoy that there’s only one correct answer to problems in math. I think a “maybe” can put anyone on the edge.

Outside of math and science I like to go out to the city and perhaps explore a site I hadn’t been to. I enjoy a beautiful view, experiencing new things and reading a couple of good books here and there. I also love spending time with my dog, taking him out and pampering him.

Of course math and science play a role in what I believe everyone’s life. I have to figure out the amount of time it’s going to take me to get from my home to school, adding the amount of time it takes the train to get to the stop, how long it takes to walk, at least extra 6 minutes for the unreliable elevators. That’s math already and it’s only on my way to school. All of our daily medications and especially technology. Math and science is everywhere.

  15. i do not have a problem with learning science. my problem is that some concepts i just might not understand as quick as others, so i tend to get lost from time to time when learning science. But on the other hand i think science can be very useful in life because it answers a lot of question that we ask about from different situations that life brings.

I like math i enjoy doing it. But my downfall is that i do not practice it everyday as i should so i forget easily what i may have learned from before. In my eyes that the only true weakness i have when it come to that subject that i do not practice it on a regular as is should but otherwise than that i am completely find with math.

outside of science and outside of school i enjoy just doing major events with my friends it could be road trips, hotel parties fun activities or just simply just relaxing and talking nothing major. an i also like to play video games preferably NBA 2K and play basketball to stay in shape or work out an thing to keep me busy.

I would more say science play a role in my life than math cause the most math that would apply in my life is just adding an time to time multiplying. But with science especially biology pretty much everything refer backs to life. An i am not particularly interested in any aspect whatever information i come across i just do my best to understand it.

  16. 1) When it comes to science, I fall right in the middle of liking and disliking it. Their are somethings in science that I like and that makes sense to me and that I would probably agree with and at the same time their are somethings that I don’t agree with. The reason why I would agree with some studies that scientist cover is because some makes sense to me. Without science, many things in nature, in our environment, in our world, in our body would not have any meaning or importance to us as humans. The fact that scientist often tries to solve or tries to figure out why things are the way they, or how does things work together makes me appreciate the fact that at least someone is out there researching and discovering new things which may change over time, and so they would have to collect new data. When it comes to disliking somethings about science, I should start by saying that I believe that there is a Higher Power out there, something that created us as humans, the world and everything that’s in it. Because of that, I don’t agree with some of the things that scientist say. I understand that they are trying to prove everything they say but then since many scientist don’t believe in what I believe in, some of the things they say offends me and cause me to not agree with some of the things that they say.

    2) When it comes to math, I can honestly say that I like it. Out of all the subjects, math have always been one of my favorite subjects. This is because to me math is not really something that makes you study so much and cause you to have a headache comparing to other subjects. For math, all I was always concerned about was understanding and solving problems using some sort of formula. Most of the math teachers that I had were also the reason why I chose math as one of my favorite subjects. Most of my math teachers in the pass took their time to explain everything they did and I seem to had never have a problem solving anything. Well I must say that back in my homeland in the carribean , my dad was the principle of this High School and he was also a math professor so because of that some of the times when I have problem understanding something, I would go to my dad and ask him to help me. I practice math a lot because I tutor my little cousins and help them with their math home-works.

    3) Outside of science I like a lot of things. I am a talented person because I was born knowing how to do things without being schooled for them. I sing and play the piano, I also play the guitar. Almost every Saturdays I have a performance in my church and sometimes in different churches. I also am in the gospel choir at my church. I also am an artist, I do fine art. I often use acrylic paint and canvas boards to paint. I had a art show last year and the principle of my high school bought one of my paintings which he posted in his office ever since. I like to make hats and scarves by knitting or crocheting. I’m a hair stylist I do hair. I like to cook, write and read. I just like a lot of things and I do a lot!

    4) Well, to be honest I think that I use both subjects equally in my everyday life. When it comes to math I like it but the only time I probably use it is when there is a sale in a store and they tell you how many percent is off and you have to do the math to see how much the item cost. I also use math when I go shopping to calculate the total of money I will need and so that the cashier don’t make me pay extra. Time is one more thing that makes me do math, when I have to calculate how long it will take me to get from one place to another. Besides that I don’t see the point!. As of, I know using all of my senses are part of science, well I can’t think of many things that I do when I have to think of science so I will leave it there!
