Our tutors and coaches help students with the tools they need to create their own success

Academic Coaching
Academic Coaching provides one-on-one assistance to help you build the skills needed for academic success. Sometimes as a college student, you may experience challenges with not making enough time for self-care, difficulty resisting device-related distractions, feeling over-scheduled and stressed about managing your time, and being inconsistent with your study habits and assignments.
Working with an Academic Coach can provide you with the guidance, feedback and support necessary to take ownership and accountability for your success. Coaches partner with you to teach you how to focus on relevant details; understand what you’re reading and remember the material afterwards; learn how to sequence and map out the time needed to complete projects, tasks, and assignments; learn how to advocate for yourself to ask the right questions; identify what you don’t know; and learn how to prioritize your assignments based on importance and due dates and so much more!
Below are some academic skill building tips to use in-and-out of the classroom.

Tutoring
The SEEK program offers one-on-one and group tutoring services to all SEEK students. Whether you are struggling or excelling in class, tutoring provides you with the opportunity to clarify subject concepts, increase understanding, improve test performance, and change your attitude about learning. Tutoring support is available in a variety of subjects including Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, English and writing-related assignments.
