How to Start a Career in City Government
November 6th | 12:45-2PM | Academic Complex, Room A105
Come learn more about city government internships, fellowships, and employment opportunities as well as how to get started in various City Government roles and positions from New York City’s Department of Citywide Administrative Services.
Financial Literacy 101 Workshop
November 6th | 1-2PM | Namm Hall, Room N817
This workshop will focus on how to manage and budget your finances to support your financial goals. Topics will include:
- budgeting your monthly expenses
- establishing credit
- credit monitoring
- the importance of a savings account
- and more!
Math Peer Support Workshop Series
November 13th | 1-2PM | Namm Hall, Room N817
An engaging and interactive workshop series facilitated by a SEEK Math Tutor and Academic Coach that:
- uses creative activities to help students understand their “Math Identity” and how it relates to learning math
- supports students to make connections while they share tips with each other to better understand terms and concepts
- provides feedback on how to apply skills independently and in the classroom
Biology Peer Support Workshop Series
November 20th | 1-2PM | Namm Hall, Room N817
An engaging and interactive workshop series facilitated by a SEEK Math Tutor and Academic Coach that:
- uses creative activities to help students understand their “Biology Identity” and how it relates to learning Biology
- supports students to make connections while they share tips with each other to better understand terms and concepts
- provides feedback on how to apply skills independently and in the classroom
