The contemporary poet John Bosworth experiments with and uses this abedarian form to add urgency to a poem that is both light in tone and deep in exploration of theme. Notice how the form and the sequence of the alphabet is woven into the lines of the poem. This abecedarian is also very much about physical shape and how external detail reveals the internal substance.
Lastly, notice how Bosworth experiments with the form, repeating the abcd lines for several stanzas before progressing to the rest of the alphabet.
