For these I wanted to do sort of a pattern like with the rainbows for rainbow sherbet and for cookie dough. I love working with patterns so I thought those would be fun. I would like the pattern to bleed off the label, so I’d add in more rainbows and more cookies on cones. And for the cow one I felt like making a cute little scene with a little cow eating ice cream because its ironic of a cow eating ice cream that is made using their milk.

For this sketchbook entry, I decided to go with characters that I have seen in my childhood from movies and shows. I automatically thought about a fairy as the first one because I’m small myself and I felt like that would be one of the fun and easy ones to do. As I’m typing this, I realize I forgot to put the wings on the fairy. The second one was a princess putting a flower on a bunny. I love animals, and I always think about how princesses in those Disney movies are able to make animal friends and I’ve always wanted to do be able to do that, obviously not something you can do in realize, but it’s fun to imagine it. And for the last one I put a mermaid, because I use to think it would be so cool to be able to swim in the ocean and breathe underwater. The only scary thing is I’m afraid of the dangerous animals in the ocean. But these are the characters I decided to go with.
